Teacher Training & Workshops

Ohio teacher training for tutors, parents, and educators in Cuyahoga and adjacent counties near Cleveland.


North Coast Education Services provides different approaches to teacher training.  NCES offers Richards Learning Systems ® and Real Life Ma+h workshops, which are open to all teachers, prospective NCES tutors, administrators, psychologists, and parents.

Usually held in Solon at our Training Center, these comprehensive workshops meet on weekends and evenings to accommodate work schedules.  The group is limited to 20 participants who pay a nominal fee to attend.  The fee includes teachers’ guides and manipulatives that are the attendee’s to keep following completion of the workshop.

All participants that complete a workshop will receive an official Certificate of Completion.  Graduate credits are also available.

Seminars and Workshops

Many public schools, school districts, parochial and private schools recognize the need for basic skills training for their teachers.  North Coast Education Services is able to provide on-site seminars and workshops in both Richards Learning Systems ® and Real Life Ma+h.  Training is usually arranged at a school in the district.

Teachers and others that have attended NCES workshops become extremely enthusiastic about the content, teaching techniques, and want to put their new knowledge to use immediately.

All participants that completes a workshop will receive an official Certificate of Completion.  Graduate credits are also available.

Graduate Credits

Certified teachers attending the Richards Learning Systems ® or Real Life Ma+h workshops may earn graduate credits through Ashland University for workshop completion.  The credits are available for purchase at the workshop site and vary by workshop.
