Seeking tutoring experts for Greater Cleveland and cities throughout Northeast Ohio.
Teachers Needed for Independent Contractor Tutoring
North Coast Education Services provides tutoring for students of all ages – in all subjects and grades – throughout Northeast Ohio. Tutors meet with individual clients in their homes or at nearby public locations, such as local libraries. A variety of classes are also offered at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland. NCES also partners with school districts and area companies to provide on-site instruction for students, teachers, and staff.
To date, the North Coast Education Services tutors include more than 300 degreed professionals. Every tutor is personally interviewed by the program directors prior to being retained and receiving any assignment. Workshop training is available for those tutors wishing to become certified in Richards Learning Systems ® and Real Life Ma+h.
When retaining tutors, NCES looks for these ingredients that make tutoring successful:
- communication skills
- people skills
- thorough course knowledge
We are always looking for qualified tutors and instructors. NCES encourages prospects to send in their resumes prior to arranging interviews. NCES tutors are independent contractors, retained on an assignment-by-assignment basis. Contractors are responsible for their own transportation to and from the client’s location.
Tutoring may be scheduled seven days a week at almost any hour, at the discretion of the family and the tutor. Every effort is made to match tutors with clients relatively nearby their own home. Many tutors with proven skills are able to work as much as they would like.
