Seeking ODE licensed teachers to tutor K – 12 students on home instruction. Immediate availability.

Minimum Requirements:
• Ohio Department of Education teaching credential or substitute licensure
• Current BCI and FBI background checks (or be willing to obtain both)
• Must be dependable, approachable and creative with high energy and enthusiasm
Daytime availability is required.

Tutor Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one tutoring to K – 12 students. Supply students with structure and boundaries while developing executive functioning skills. Seeking tutors experienced with all subjects:
• English/Language Arts
• History & Social Studies
• High Level Math (algebra I, II, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, functions and statistics)
• Sciences
• AP courses
• Electives

Tutoring will take place in the Beachwood area between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. Times and locations vary by student.

Invoice Rate:
$20 – 25/hr. on an independent contractor basis, based on years of experience.

Seeking an ODE licensed intervention specialist to supervise a scholarship student.

Minimum Requirements:
• Ohio Department of Education (ODE) teaching credential (not an aide or substitute teacher credential)
• Current BCI and FBI background checks (or be willing to obtain both)
• Must be creative, flexible, sensitive, and dependable
• After school availability is required.

Tutor Responsibilities:
Observe/report on an aide’s work with a student on the autism spectrum – two times a month. Write quarterly IEP progress reports. Supervision will take place after school at the student’s school in Bexley, OH (43209).

Invoice Rate:
$30/hr. on an independent contractor basis.

Seeking two to three aides to work with one of our Autism Scholarship students. Immediate availability.

Minimum Requirements:
• Completed at least two years of college
• Current BCI and FBI background checks (or be willing to obtain both)
• Must be creative, flexible, sensitive, and dependable
• Experience with special needs and/or autism is preferred.
• Daytime availability

Tutor Responsibilities:
The student is 8 year old boy on the autism spectrum. You will receive training from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. 5 – 10 hours of tutoring per week during the day. Tutoring will take place in the family home in West Park, which is a neighborhood on the west side of Cleveland.

Invoice Rate:
$14 – 18/hr. on an independent contractor basis, based on education and experience.

Seeking an experienced Spanish tutor to tutor a Kent State University student in a college level course (Elementary Spanish I).

Minimum Requirements:
• Current BCI and FBI background checks (or be willing to obtain both)
• Must be dependable, approachable and creative with high energy and enthusiasm

Tutor Responsibilities:
Tutoring will consist of helping the student with Spanish grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and speaking. Tutor should be comfortable reading, writing, and speaking Spanish. Tutoring will take place on the main campus of Kent State University (44240). We are anticipating two (2) hours of tutoring per week, but more hours may be necessary by the end of the semester. The student has the most availability on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The tutor and student will finalize a tutoring schedule based on mutual availability.

Seeking experienced tutors to provide ACT and SAT tutoring to high school students throughout Northeast Ohio. NCES provides in-home tutoring in seven counties — Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, Portage, Summit, Lorain and Medina. Referrals will be kept within a reasonable distance.

Minimum Requirements:
• Must have at least a four-year college degree
• Current BCI and FBI background checks (or be willing to obtain both)
• Must be dependable, approachable and creative with high energy and enthusiasm

Tutor Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one tutoring to high school students preparing to take the ACT and/or SAT exams. Must have experience preparing students for the exams(s) and a strong knowledge base of high school humanities, writing skills, and high school math and science. Licensed and substitute teachers are encouraged to apply.

Most ACT and SAT tutoring takes place after school hours, in the evening, or on the weekend. Specific days and times will vary by student. Tutoring may take place in the student’s home or at a nearby public location.

Provide one-on-one tutoring to high school students with IEPs. Must be comfortable with high school subjects, as well as behavior support and techniques. Provide structure and boundaries while developing executive functioning skills. All tutoring is one-on-one. Referrals are available between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. Tutoring will take place in the Shaker Heights area. Times and locations vary by student.
