COMMUNITY EFFORT IMPROVES RICHARDS LEARNING SYSTEMS
Recently, we announced that changes were coming to our award-winning, multi-sensory reading curriculum — Richards Learning Systems®. With the help of the non-profit Creative Education Institute (CEI), Richards Learning Systems ® will be reformatted into a series of five-minute videos that will teach fundamental reading skills. These videos will be shown in a classroom setting, allowing teachers to be trained as students learn the material. This process will save school districts time and money in teacher training, while providing teachers with a proven approach to teach reading.
Eric Gordon, the CEO of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, has already committed 27 K-2 classrooms to the launch of the Richards Learning Systems® video program.

North Coast Education Services proudly offers Richards Learning Systems®. Developed by our founder and executive director, Carole Richards, Richards Learning Systems® also contains programs in reading comprehension and writing development. The series is based on the works of Orton-Gillingham.
