“The Education Problem Solvers” since 1985
North Coast Education Services has been Northeast Ohio’s leader in private in-home tutoring for over 30 years. We serve seven Northeast Ohio counties and offer support statewide to students on the Autism Scholarship and the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship. That means we have tutoring opportunities throughout the state…and right near your home!
A Tutoring Opportunity Near Your Home (or Office)
Tutoring in Ohio has never been this easy. We do our best to keep tutoring referrals to a reasonable distance. You declare how far you are willing to drive and we will refer students to you along the way. Tutor near your home, your office, or by your child’s school. You decide what works best for you.
Create Your Own Schedule
As an independent contractor tutor, you set and maintain your own schedule. Specify your availability and our program managers will refer students to you. Tutoring can take place during the school day, after school, evenings, or on the weekend. We offer tutoring seven days a week, so you can pick the days and times that work best for your schedule.
An Immediate Need for Licensed Teachers

Intervention Specialists throughout Ohio
NCES is seeking licensed ODE intervention specialists for opportunities throughout the state of Ohio. Many of these opportunities involve tutoring and/or supervising our students on the Autism and Jon Peterson scholarships and writing quarterly IEP progress reports. Intervention specialists may also assist with other non-scholarship students who are completing work related to their IEP.
Licensed Teachers throughout Ohio
Licensed teachers are needed to provide tutoring to our students in all subjects – especially high school level math and science courses. Opportunities with Home Instruction students are generally limited to daytime hours, but there is additional availability for students in other programs.
