Teacher Training …
NCES provides different approaches to teacher training. NCES offers RICHARDS READ and Real Life Ma+h workshops that are open to all teachers, prospective NCES tutors, administrators, psychologists, and parents. Usually held in Solon, Ohio at our Training Center, these comprehensive workshops meet on weekends and evenings to accommodate work schedules. The group is limited to 20 participants who pay a nominal tuition to attend. The tuition includes teachers’ guides that are used during the workshops and in practice.
Seminars and Workshops
Many public schools, school districts, parochial and private schools recognize the need for basic skills training for their teachers. NCES provides specialized training in RICHARDS READ Systematic Language and Real Life Ma+h. Training is usually arranged on-site at a school in the district.
Teachers and others that have attended NCES workshops become extremely enthusiastic about content, teaching techniques, and immediate use in teaching.
