About NCES ...

North Coast Tutoring Services was founded nearly 20 years ago in 1985 by Company President Carole Richards. Since she started the company, it has grown steadily.  As the leading provider of education services in Northeast Ohio, currently we employ more than 300 active tutors and a staff of eight in the Chagrin Falls business office.

WE BELIEVE each learner, child or adult, learns differently.  Our objective is to present material in a form compatible with learning style, skills and abilities of each student. We build on small learning successes to grow self-confidence and self-esteem.  We serve each client as an individual, and develop our recommendations for each client.

We provide education and training services to four types of clients:

• Individual clients
• Schools and School Districts
• Rehabilitation Clients
• Companies

We go to the customer! All individual services are provided at clients’ homes or convenient, nearby facilities.  We serve companies, schools and school districts on-site at their locations.

Our core business is providing in-home tutoring services to individual students, all subjects and all grades. Our clients range from pre-schoolers to adults. Because we have helped thousands of clients become more successful, we are known as the “education problem-solvers”.
